Day 8

30 °C

We made it safely to Layoune yesterday and had some dinner outside a restaurant that evening. It was some kind of public holiday as all the muslims were dressed up and in a festive mood.
Through sms we found out that the rest of the group had set up camp about 20km from town right along the beach so we went there as well.

We left this morning around 10:30 and had another 550 km to drive to Dahkla. It was kind of a boring stretch of road. The scenery became more and more sandy and we even spotted some camels!

For the first time we arrived before sunset, but we were so tired that we called it an early night.
