A Travellerspoint blog

Day 1

all seasons in one day 10 °C

38 Cars gathered this morning at the docks in Amsterdam North. It was a big happening with lots of friends and family and after a short delay we left around noon.
As one big group we drove to the border with Belgium, from where everyone could set there own pace. Along the route in Holland lots of people gave us the thumbs up and were probably wondering what we were up to.
We're heading for Bligny, a small town about 100km south of Dijon. This is where Jim normally lives. At the moment we're driving on the tollway, roughly 100km before Dijon, so we're getting there.....
We first have to visit a friend in Dijon to pick up some stuff, but we hope sit on the dinnertable before 10.
Unfortunately we're having some problems with the clutch that have to be fixed tonight....hopefully we get some sleep!
